*Academic Search Complete (EBSCO)

Academic Search Complete is multidisciplinary database that is useful for almost any topic. It provides indexing and abstracting of more than 9,000 periodicals, many of them peer-reviewed. There is also full text of more than 5,300 hundred periodicals, the majority of which are scholarly. The dates of coverage are between 1985-present. The database can be searched by many different fields, including author, title, keyword, journal name, etc. Boolean logic can be used. When searching for an author, do not truncate the first name (Flynn, L?) will not produce results. Searches can be limited by many criteria, including type of source, presence of full-text, publication dates, and type of publication, such as book reviews.
